Information for host sites

How can your clinical trial unit or office host an intern?

To ensure a high-quality internship experience, potential host sites undergo a thorough selection process.

They must complete an Expression of Interest and provide detailed information about their facilities, enabling the VCCC Alliance to match interns with sites that offer exceptional training, supervision, and exposure across all required competencies.

Many well-regarded host sites have consistently partnered with the program since it started in 2019 – a testament to its success.

Recommended applicants are carefully matched to host sites based on factors such as qualifications, prior experience, career goals, suitability to undertake the internship program, preferred location, and the site's structure.

This precise matching process ensures a tailored and rewarding experience for every intern, maximising their potential for growth and success in the clinical trials field. Our process also ensures overall satisfaction of sites in hosting interns.

An EOI is advertised prior to the internship intakes and are currently open for the 2026 program. Find out more information.
